Noua piesă a fost scrisă și compusă de Minelli alături de Oliver Landin și Hanna Lilliecreutz, iar de producție s-a ocupat Oliver Landin. "Confused" este al treilea single lansat de Minelli în 2022.
„Am scris <<Confused>> în timpul unei sesiuni din Suedia cu doi oameni minunați și am încercat să capturăm acel sentiment pe care toți îl experimentăm măcar o dată în viață când persoana pe care o iubim ne face confuzi și nu știm cum ar trebui să
procedăm și ce decizie să luăm, dacă ar trebui să rămânem în relația respectivă sau să plecăm", a declarat Minelli.
