Coldplay va lansa albumul “Music of the Spheres” pe 15 octombrie, fiind inspirat din seria “Star Wars”. Chris Martin, liderul grupului, a explicat că, după ce a vizionat filmele, s-a întrebat cum sună muzica pe alte planete.
“Music of the Spheres”, cel de-al 9-lea album al trupei va cuprinde 12 piese, iar cinci dintre ele vor fi reprezentate doar de emoticoane.

Formaţia britanică Coldplay a lansat "Higher Power" pe platformele de streaming iar videoclipul a fost publicat pe YouTube. Muzicienii au prezentat noua compoziţie în premieră cu ajutorul astronautului francez Thomas Pesquet, aflat pe Staţia Spaţială Internaţională pentru o misiune de 6 luni.
